The Asparagus Patch

Above is a picture of the asparagus patch. Almost 1/2 acre of asparagus. If the rows were placed end to end, it would be 1/2 mile long!

All 2400 asparagus crowns have been planted. It has taken three years to haul manure, compose it and plant 800 roots per year. I usually harvest from late March or early April to Early May. Contact me for asparagus! It is $6 per pound of asparagus and it goes fast!

Total is 2400 plants which at maturity will produce 1200 pounds of asparagus annually!

Asparagus is $4 per pound available in April and May 2017.
